Tegucigalpa, Honduras (19.11.2024) - Mexico is up 1-0 at the break in their Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal against Honduras at the Nemesio Diez Stadium in Toluca. 

 


With this lead, Mexico aims to overturn a 2-0 aggregate deficit from the first leg.


Mexico pressed early, with Edson Álvarez hitting the crossbar in the first minute and Alexis Vega forcing a save from Edrick Menjívar.

Honduras responded with a strong shot from Edwin Rodríguez, but Guillermo Ochoa was up to the task. 

Mexico continued to dominate, but Honduras defended well to keep the score level.
